ASIMO, Honda's advanced humanoid robot, launched the all new Insight Hybrid at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show in Europe. Honda's latest hybrid vehicle revives the Insight nameplate which was first used in 1999. It also marks a return for Honda to producing hybrids in a dedicated aerodynamic body, designed to optimize the performance of the efficient petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain.At Geneva ASIMO will interact with a human host showing the versatility of the new Insight. ASIMO has proved to be hugely popular with crowds across the globe and has appeared at motor shows, science exhibitions and even at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street.

Honda announced that the all-new Insight hybrid vehicle will go on sale in Japan on Friday, February 6, 2009. A five-door, five-passenger compact hatchback starting at an affordable ¥1,890,000, the Insight features a lightweight, compact hybrid system that combines exceptional fuel economy with fun-to-drive performance. Designed to set the standard for compact cars for a new era, the Insight combines outstanding environmental performance with fun, responsive driving and efficient, versatile packaging.

Acura debuted an all-new V-6 model for its TSX sports sedan line-up at the Chicago Auto Show. Scheduled to go on sale this summer, the 2010 TSX V-6 will be equipped with a powerful 3.5-liter engine, exclusive suspension tuning, larger diameter wheels and additional enhancements.

Re-launched 1996, 3rd genereation City was built on Civic platform and had code name SX8. Face-lifted in 2000, and in 2002 fourth generation was introduced. Fourth generation City included a four-wheel drive version. Like the contemporary Honda Jazz, the City is actually a rebadged Honda Fit, in the City's case a rebadged Fit Aria. The Mugen supercharger kit can produce 150PS/6,600RPM, and 185Nm/3,800rpm torque on 1,5 City engine.

Honda City history begun in 1981, as a subcompact Asia market car. Discontinued in 1994, re-started in 1996 and manufactured until present times. The first generation - 1981-1986 cars was small, rather two-seaters, but had something attractive - turboed engines with 81 kw (105 HP) and wide bodies. Honda identified the following characteristics as being the most important to achieve customer satisfaction in city cars market: vehicle should be compact in size but with a minimum wheelbase of 2,500 mm in length and 1690 mm in width, engine should have approx. 95 HP, the vehicle should possess excellent ergonomics, providing a spacious passenger cabin, good ride characteristics and a high level of standard equipment, not to mention both active and passive safety. And of course, the new city car should be affordable. That's how Honda City was born.

Honda developed a hybrid sports car powertrain that was among the world’s lowest emission rates thanks to its 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder direct injection gasoline engine with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system. First used in J-VX prototype, presented at Tokyo motor show in 1997. Two door, four seater with very limited cargo area. Tapered at rear above wheel wells. Flat back with vertical glass window, panoramic roof.

First presented in Tokyo autoshow 1999, later at NAIAS 2000, it is made by Honda R & D Americas, Inc., in Torrance. The front wheels are driven by a gasoline engine, and the rear ones - by electric motors. Lambo-style doors (LSD), nice sporty front and convertible bac makes it a good looking and innovative pocket-rocket concept. Design and construction of the Spocket took eight months to complete, and  was inspired by Honda's T360 mid-engine pickup truck, produced in 1963. People are leaving town on the spur of the moment for the beach, the mountains, or just simply to get away. In the future, they'll be escaping with the help of a multi-purpose vehicle like the Honda Spocket, which delivers not only sporty performance but also satisfying utility, Honda believes.
